My Apology...

Good Morning All! I just wanted to write a quick note to say that I am sorry...so very sorry that I haven't posted anything recently but it seems that my computer has contracted a virus therefore I am having to use my computer at work! Which to say the least I am limited as to what I can do! But...I promise that I will posting soon! I am waiting on my computer guru to come fix this nasty little problem I am having. Thanks so much for stopping by and I will be posting some new work soon!

Happy Crafting!

Super Hero Birthday

Yay! I'm now officially two for two today! So, today is my husband's birthday and of course, I had to make his card! A few weeks ago our son said: "Dad, do you know who is my favorite super hero? He replied: "No who?" Hayden said, "You!" Awww, how sweet right? So what more appropriate than a super hero birthday card! I got this very handsome super hero from KennyK, colored him with copics and the printed paper is DCVW "all about boys." I hope everyone likes it!

Cardstock is from my stash.

Recent Copic Work

If you have been following along you know that I am new to the copic world...which I happen to love and I am completely addicted! So, today I decided to share a KennyK digi stamp that I have been working on. Right now my biggest challenge seems to be getting the skin tone right! Also, does anyone have any advice on how to photograph my work? It just seems like every photo I take makes the skin look orange :( I have a really great camera and tons of settings but it seems like no matter what I do it still has an orange tone. Anyway input is greatly appreicated!

Super Mom

First of all, I am very new to this whole "blog" thing so pelase be patient as I work my way around tyring to everything out!

So, last weekend was my Grandmother's 81st birthday and as usual my Mother asked that I make a card for my Grandmother from her. So, this is what I came up with...it is a partial lift from a card that I found just by searching images on the web with the name of the digi stamp from KennyK...which I absolutley love!

As you can see I still have a way to go with getting my copic work to look just right but considering that I have only had them about 3 weeks I think I am doing fairly well!

Skin: E21
Hair: Y11,Y15, YR23
Eyes: G94
Dress & Shoes: C-1, B23,B24
Apron: R46
