Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Hello! Since I've not been feeling well I decided to at least get off my can and make some cards! KennyK has some new images out called WorkForce! So, I decided to use Sexy Teacher for my card today!

She is quite the sexy one isn't she? I did alter the skirt a bit by adding in a plaid pattern...and then I colored her with copics.

I used Glossy Accents on her glasses & heels. The stick pens I made myself using corsage pins and some beads (all from Wal-Mart). The glitter paper is from Martha Stewart as well as the border punch. I thought that I should use some algebra equations here as well! First I took some graph paper tore off the edges, wrinkled it up, and then used Tim Holtz Weathered Wood to ink it. Then I sprayed it with water and used a hair dryer to finish it off!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy crafting & God Bless!

Christmas is almost Here!

Good Afternoon! Well, I spent all night long working on some last minute Christmas cards! I have several to post today so please bear with me!

First is a fairly traditional card with another great image from KennyK...it's called Xmas Tree.

Just another simple card! I colored the image with copics. Used a textured red cardstock for the backing and some printed paper from my stash...along with the ribbon and embellishments. The stamp was a mere 97 cents at Wal-Mart! I decided to give it a bit of "shine" by adding some glitter to the star and garland!

***

Next is another card featuring an image from KennyK and this sexy girl is called Helga Frost! I have to say she is quite the challenge when it comes to my copics...there is so much detail to her!

Well, what do you think? I started with a lovely light turquoise cardstock and then began to layer it with the printed snowflake paper. The silver foil paper is some I had left over from a wedding book I did and then I used a piece of white cardstock embossed with snowflakes to create something for her to "sit" on. Then I used some Tulip puff paint in diamond to help the snowflakes "pop" a bit! With the leftover turquoise cardstock I used a large EK Success punch for the snowflake along with with cardstock and added some more glitter!

***

Now we have "Merry Christmas One and All". The sentiment is another great Wal-Mart find and the image is a combination of two from BugaBoo Stamps! They have some really great images over there...and for a limited time all of there images are 50% off!

I think this is such an adorable image...I really hope my friend Jean likes it! I used the background and one of their "sitters" to create this little scene then colored it with copics. Again I used the light turquoise cardstock with a red & turquoise printed paper from DCWV. Underneath the image is a piece of embossed cardstock with snowflakes that I have covered in glitter! I used the same process as before to create the snowflake at the top and then used some "floss" to attach the button!

***

Jesus...I believe that is all I need to say right? I mean He is the Reason for the season! This adorable little image is from Bugaboo Stamps as well!

Super simple! Kraft colored cardstock, dark navy cardstock. I colored the image with copics and then added some gold glitter to the star. I used a white gel pen to create the stitching around the edges and some dark brown hemp to attach the button. The mini snowflakes were created with a mini EK Success punch!

I have a few more to post but since it seems like this post has gone on forever I think I will save them for tomorrow! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas!!!!

I have several cards today!!! I finally found (made) some spare time to get some Christmas cards done! The first one is a Bad Santa...and I just love him!

He is so "bad" yet so adorable! You can get him from Make it Crafty along with some other great stamps! I colored him with copics and the sentiment comes along with the stamp.  All of the printed papers are from DCWV.

The next card I did was with some very creative elves! The image is called Elf Delivery System and they are from Make it Crafty as well! I have to say that they are quite creative little guys when it comes to "delivering" a package!

For my final card today I used one of those sexy little girls from KennyK! She is called Sexy Elf and I'm pretty sure she was caught in the act!

For this card I used a printed paper from an old American Crafts collection. I don't normally used printed paper for my backing but it seemed to just work this time! I punched a a snowflake in the corner and then lined the inside with red cardstock. I embossed the cardstock with Swiss Dots and attached her with pop dots. The embellishments are all from my stash!

Happy Birthday...Dukes Style!

Hello!!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Today is my brother-n-law's birthday and since he is a Dukes of Hazzard fan I tried my best to make something that resembled his love for the series. I wasn't able to find Daisy herself but I'm pretty sure the substitute I used will work! I hope he likes it!

So, how did I do? The car I found just by using Google and making some Photo Shop adjustments! And of course that very sexy lady, Jessi Jane, is from none other than KennyK! The cardstock and printed paper is from my stash. The checkered flag paper was created by hand. I simply just layered up the paper and then went back with a white gel pen to create the look of a checkered flag! I still need to put Happy Birthday on it somewhere but I'm still up in the air about how and where that will be placed! Here is a closer look at Jessi Jane....

I colored her and the car using copics and then attached it to the card using pop dots. Thanks so much for stopping by to check this out!

With ALL my Heart

I have to say I LOVE this image! It is called Buds and it's from Mo's Digital Pencil, Isn't it just so very adorable! Mo's has some really great images...be sure to stop by there and check them out if you haven't already!

Adorable, right? :) Ok so again, 6x6 cardstock, the printed papers are both from DCWV "all about boys." The sentiment is another rub-on from my stash. I embossed the red cardstock using Houndstooth embossing folder. I was very hesitant to use the ribbon on this card but I think it turned out quite well. And the "stitching" I did using a white gel pen. Thanks so much for looking!

Hugs,
~MaryBeth
