With ALL my Heart

I have to say I LOVE this image! It is called Buds and it's from Mo's Digital Pencil, Isn't it just so very adorable! Mo's has some really great images...be sure to stop by there and check them out if you haven't already!

Adorable, right? :) Ok so again, 6x6 cardstock, the printed papers are both from DCWV "all about boys." The sentiment is another rub-on from my stash. I embossed the red cardstock using Houndstooth embossing folder. I was very hesitant to use the ribbon on this card but I think it turned out quite well. And the "stitching" I did using a white gel pen. Thanks so much for looking!

Hugs,
~MaryBeth

...so thoughtful

Good Afternoon! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I took some time and made some super simple cards that I will be sharing with you today! First, is "You're always so thoughtful." I just love this image! It is just so sweet. It reminds me of a big brother watching over his lil' sis!

So, there really isn't that much to this card as you can see! Basically just some "craft" colored cardstock cut to 6x6. The printed paper is DCWV "all about boys". You can't tell from the photo but the ribbon is a really dark navy and the sentiment is a rub-on that I had stashed away. That's it...just quick and simple but oh so sweet! I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

Tied UP!

I just love it when things happen by accident but seem to turn out fabulous don't you? That's exactly what happened with today's post! I know I've used KennyK's Devastatia recently but she is just so sassy and easy to work with! And as I said earlier this came about completely by accident!

So, what do you think? Basically I was working on creating the crossing of the ribbon for just a simple card and then it hit me! She seemed like such a perfect fit! I can't remember who the black polka dot paper is from but I embossed it with d'vine swirls. Then I measured out the distance between the eyelets, set them with my Crop-a-dile and laced the ribbon through the eyelets. After that I very carefully slid her underneath the ribbon and used pop dots to attach the top portion of her to the paper.

For the sentiment I used some glitter alphas that I picked up back at Christmas and for the first time in forever I cut the backing paper using some fiskars edging scissors. I have to say that I am very pleased with the way she turned out! Thanks so much for looking & happy crafting!

Hugs,
~MaryBeth

Coming Together...

Don't you just love it when you can picture something in your mind and it comes together without a hitch in your project? That's exactly what happened with this!

As I was coloring this adorable little guy from Pollycraft the other day I began to picture how I wanted the card to look and last night apparently was the perfect night to put it all together! I can't get over how cute he is! I used some stickles for the flower and the leaves. I did use a white pigment ink on the embossed swirls but it is really hard to see in the picture. I was trying to give it a sense of sky and clouds. Thanks so much for stopping by & Happy crafting!

Super Simple!

Today I am sharing a super simple card! No coloring, no digi, no tearing...just plain and simple! My only supplies were 12 x 12 cardstock cut to A2 size, white satin ribbon, beautiful pink and lime printed paper, a little bit of pink ink (for the sentiment) and of course a tad bit of bling with some stickles!

I believe it turned out just right! Every now and then my hands just need a break from trying to stay inside the lines! Thanks so much for stopping by & Happy crafting!

U Rock

I have another one! I think this would be great for someone who needs to know that they did a great job or to just give them an ego boost! And of course I had to give it some bling!

I just love the purple and green together don't you? I added the little purple gems to the center of a few of the circles and put some silver stickles on the heart and purple button. I wanted to use only purple at first but that became overwhelming so I decided to add the green and I think it was just the right fit! The image is from KennyK...her name is Star and I colored her before my recent purchase of copics for skin tones (that's why she's a bit bland).

Thanks for looking & Happy Crafting!

~MaryBeth

Ink anyone?

Woooohooo! I'm back! Finally! It feels like it has been forever since my last post....now that I have gotten that out :) I don't really feel like I do well with distressing, inking, tearing and so on but I decided to give it a shot anyway and here is what I ended up with...

Not too bad right? Oh, and I used fibers for the first time too! Yay for me! Here is a close up of that sexy lady from KennyK...her name is Carmen Electrafying and I have to say I believe thus far this is the most skin I have ever colored!

I know that the pics are not the best quality...I was in a bit of a hurry! So thanks for stopping by and checking her out!
